After a long 15-plus months of coronavirus restrictions, Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar Orlando in Pointe Orlando has officially reopened and relaunched its award-winning nightlife with Tropical Fridays (25+) and Bailamos Saturdays (21+) after dinner hours and continuing into the early morning from 10:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Sugar Dough Bakehouse –
‘Light On The Sugar’ Sister Concept –
to Open in July 2021 in Orlando’s Audubon Park Across From East End Market

The owners of Light On The Sugar, a local bakery known for their instagrammable cream puffs, macarons, cakes and coffee, have officially announced that they will be opening a sister concept, Sugar Dough Bakehouse, this summer. The new concept will specialize in made-from-scratch, Asian-inspired French pastries along with house-brewed coffee and teas, and is expected to open some time after the fourth of July. The concept will offer Japanese milk bread, savory and cream-filled croissants, danishes, cookies, Portuguese egg tarts, and le flan, a French-style custard made from sous vide egg.  The bake shop will also offer cruffins (croissant muffins), and both sweet and savory cruffles, a hybrid between a croissant and a waffle.  Flavors will include sesame, ube s’more, and white chocolate oreo, and creations will rotate seasonally. Stefano's Trattoria's Chaz Morales in training as new sous chef

Stefano's Trattoria has been training Chaz Morales for the last 4 months to take over as new sous chef. We wish him all the best in his training and career with Stefano's! 

Here is a quick profile on Chaz Morales:
"My name is Chaz Morales, I have being working at Stefano's Trattoria for almost 2 years. My passion for food first came to me when I took a culinary course during my freshman year of high school. Instantly, I was hooked and my passion and drive towards mastering the art of culinary quickly arose. Due to this, I got my first job at 15 I started with washing dishes at Bagel King. Although this developed the work ethic I possess today, it wasn’t what I necessarily wanted to do. After a year of hard work, I became a cook and that is when I began developing the skills I still carry into my current workplace. 
Besides having a huge passion for food the work environment itself is something hard to resist as well. The fast-paced nature of this workplace keeps me on my feet and constantly moving. Despite the difficulties, this may pose, I still thrive and work with my crew to get our jobs done. During these stressful moments, however, my coworkers and I still find moments to have fun and enjoy what we love to do. And that’s what’s most important. I am honored to accept my new position and role in this prestigious restaurant and continue growing both professionally and as a leader to one day owning my own restaurant."
